Does this replace Google Calendar?
No. ClassOps syncs with Google Calendar — it doesn't replace it. Your existing events stay untouched. ClassOps adds class events to your calendar and checks your availability against it before scheduling anything new, so you never get double-booked.
Do students need a Google account to join a class?
No. Every online session gets a Google Meet link that's sent by email — students click the link at class time. No Google account or app download required to join.
What happens when I reschedule or cancel a class?
The calendar event and Meet link update automatically for both teacher and student — no manual recreation. For cancellations, you can suggest replacement slots and let the student pick one through a secure link; the calendar updates the moment they confirm.
Can I import my existing Google Calendar events?
Yes. If you're already scheduling classes on Google Calendar, you can import existing events to create ClassOps courses instantly instead of setting everything up from scratch.
Does this work for offline (in-person) classes too?
Yes. Online classes get a Meet link automatically; offline classes show the venue instead. You can run both in the same schedule, even across different teachers.
What if I use Outlook or another calendar instead of Google?
Calendar sync and Meet link creation currently work through Google Calendar. You can still run ClassOps scheduling, reminders, and make-ups without connecting a calendar — connecting Google Calendar just keeps everything mirrored automatically.
